Jeremy Jenkins is the WGAL News 8 weekend evening anchor. Jeremy joined the WGAL News 8 team in October 2018. Originally from Arkansas, Jeremy is excited to make Susquehanna Valley his new home!

Prior to his move to the Northeast he was a Multimedia Journalist for KETK in Tyler, Texas. There he covered the CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System murder investigation and interviewed entertainer Jamie Foxx and Nickelodeon’s Kel Mitchell.

Outside the newsroom Jeremy has been honored for his work as a community advocate. In 2018, he was chosen as a nominee for Favorite News Personality for the Missoulian’s annual Missoula Choice Award. He’s also an award-winning fundraiser for Susan G. Komen’s Race for the Cure.

Other organizations he’s worked with include Relay for Life, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.
