Carrie Fisher is a good witch in the trailer for her final film ‘Wonderwell’
Welcome to News. I'm an from Cheddar Studios in New York City and Good morning everyone. Now its time for *** morning. The look at the entertainment and celebrity stories making news. We have new details about Carrie Fisher's last film. Here's *** look at Fisher in the upcoming fantasy movie Wonder. Well, which cost stars Rita or deadline is reporting that the film landed *** theatrical release date of June 23rd, Fisher finished her part on the project in 2016, just six weeks before she died. The movie centers around *** young girl who discovers an imaginary world called Wonder. Well, where she meets Fisher's character who guides her through the fantasy world. So this movie was like, how many years in the media? Yeah, really? *** long time. And by the way, can we show the photo of Carrie Fisher in the film? Because what I saw this, she looks right here, she looks like Debbie Reynolds. She looks exactly like her mother in this, which is so interesting. So maybe, who knows? Maybe at the time she drew inspiration from her mom who by the way, passed away almost exactly the day after. Yeah, exactly. Really, really close to when she had died as well. Alright, British comedian and actress, Miriam Margolis is be almost all for British Bogue's Pride Month issue. Margolis, who you might remember who's best known as her role as Professor Sprout in the Harry Potter franchise appeared on her first Vogue cut over at 82. Look at those takes, she reflected back on the challenges she faced coming out in 1966. That was when being gay was still illegal in the UK. She said she never had any shame about being gay. She met her life partner, Heather Sutherland back in 1967. But the couple has never cohabitated together. Margalis saying quote, I wanted my cake and I wanted to eat it too and ask her her life. She said, quote, I like being gay. I wouldn't want to be straight for anything. I agree with that. She said back in the sixties though, she was like, I, you know, when being gay was illegal, she was like, I, I'm still going to live my life because nothing, what I'm doing is wrong. So it's like I can, I'm not breaking the rules or the law or anything like this because I'm just being myself here as, as far as not living together, I've heard many straight and gay couples say that's the key to happiness. This says you and I whose husbands are both out of town where our marriages are thriving right now. Really is spilling on why Tom Hanks turned down *** role in when Harry met Sally. Yeah, Wilson appeared on the podcast Table for two with Bruce Boi and Hanks was offered the lead role in the film, but turned it down because he was going through *** divorce at the time and he just could not relate to the character saying Hanks was quote, very happy to not be married at the time. Adding that Hanks couldn't understand that anyone going through *** divorce would be quote, anything other than just like I'm so happy. All right. So he must have been very happy over it. I mean, but also do you think this would have changed instead of Billy Crystal? It's him. I mean, and we should know he did do *** no E film later on. He did Sleepless in Seattle with Meg Ryan. So it's like he still had his opportunity to sort of get one of the best rom coms ever. But you almost wonder even though Billy Crystal is iconic in that role, could it have been even different with Tom Hanks? I think everything works out for *** reason because I can't see Tom Hanks sitting across Meg Ryan in that infamous scene in the movie, I just can't picture Crystal and it also would be weird. He probably then wouldn't have gotten Sleepless in Seattle because it's like if he did that Plus Sleepless in Seattle with Meg Ryan, it would just look weird with the same couple in both movies and same thing. I can't see anyone else but Tom Hanks and Sleepless in. Exactly. So true. So, you're right. Everything worked out perfectly. Although I would like to see Tom Hanks face at the restaurant where she's having her thing. I can't even picture. All right. Coming up guys, we've got more of, you need to know headlines *** whole another hour. Wake with head your way right after this.
