It's a busy Friday in the Susquehanna Valley, with several events happening.
Plant sale
A plant sale will raise money for hospice.
Hundreds of annuals, perennials, vegetables, herbs and more will be available.
The sale runs from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Essa Flory Center on Good Drive in Lancaster.
First Friday
It's First Friday in York and Lancaster.
Lancaster police will host a Legen-dairy event from 6 to 10 p.m. at Ewell Plaza.
The department is partnering with the PA Dairymen's Association to hand out 1,000 free milkshakes.
In York, shops, restaurants and cultural venues will have extended hours.
Taste of Lititz
The Taste of Lititz allows visitors to sample food from local restaurants.
It runs from 5 to 9 p.m.
There will also be live entertainment and family-friendly games.
National Donut Day
Friday is National Donut Day.
Krispy Kreme is giving away free donuts.
Participating Dunkin' locations are offering a free classic donut with the purchase of a beverage.
Duck Donuts customers can get a free cinnamon sugar donut.
