Over the last 10 weeks, the days have all started to blend together. It makes it pretty easy to lose track of time.
So, believe it or not – it’s Memorial Day weekend – a day where we stop and pay tribute to those who lost their lives serving our country.
It also marks the unofficial start to summer.
Obviously, that’s complicated this year.
In our area – some counties are still in the red phase while others have moved to yellow.
Know which one you’re in and follow the state’s guidance closely.
A second wave of the virus – as many are predicting – would have an even more devastating effect on our small businesses, our larger economy, and our collective psyche.
But there is plenty we can still do safely.
So, this weekend – get outside – fire up the grill – and remember those who have made this life possible for all of us.
Even in this altered state – our freedoms are a result of their sacrifice.
