First it was toilet paper, then disinfecting wipes, gloves and masks. There was even a guy who filled his garage with hand sanitizer. That plan to get rich didn't work out too well. Now there's a new fear brewing, but we have the ability to not let it overcome us. This past week, because of the spread of the Corona virus, meat processing plants have been closing. Some people are worried about an imminent shortage of meat. Experts tend to disagree, suggesting any shortages will be minimal. And temporary hoarding is largely a self fulfilling prophecy. Any shortages are more likely to be created by us, then created by suppliers. So the next time you find yourself in the meat department, be a good neighbor and don't buy more than you need.
