April 24, 2020: Stay-at-home order, reopening Pa. are not mutually exclusive

In a time where we're all looking for guidance on what's the right thing to do, we wanted to share a perspective here that we think needs reinforcement, a stay at home order and planning to reopen the economy are not mutually exclusive. Right now, there's clear guidance on both. Yet we're seeing evidence of something between confusion and disregard for the efforts to keep all the safe. The guidance is clear. Our state is under a stay at home water until May 8th, and all of us complying is critical to ensuring that when we come back together, we can do so safely. Mass gatherings, regardless of their purpose, are dangerous. That doesn't mean our municipalities and businesses shouldn't be preparing to reopen our economy. They should, and most of them are careful planning that keeps employees safety at the center of all decision making is our best chance in a reopening that doesn't lead to a setback. Our individual choices will lead to our collective result. We eat our actions to reflect that
