There is no shortage of everyday heroes during the cove in 19 Pandemic grocery store workers, sanitation crews in law enforcement, to name a few. They all stand out. But this week we want to focus on the work that is happening in our health care facilities. Our medical professionals are answering the very highest calling of their profession under the most difficult circumstances. Thousands in our region alone have tested positive for Corona virus, and our brave doctors, nurses, support staff, E. M, T S and countless others are risking their own well being to treat them. We owe it to them to support them in the way they need it most. Right now, by staying home every trip out, even the seemingly innocent ones raised the chances that more of us will need medical attention, further stressing the system, we're all in this together. Let's all pledge to do our part and to our medical workers. Ah, collective, thank you from a grateful community. Send comments to editorials, a w g l dot com
